Four Men Fatally Shot In Police Operation | Midday News
“We want justice… justice we want.”
That cry from a resident of the Retirement community in St. James, following a deadly police shooting in the area early Wednesday morning.
Among the four persons killed is a 57-year-old man and his son, both from the community. The other two deceased men are from addresses in Kingston and the neighbouring Green Pond area in St. James. TVJ News understands they all worked on the landfill.
Police were reportedly carrying out an operation when the shooting occurred.
An elderly resident says her grandson is among the deceased.
This latest incident brings the number of fatal shootings recorded across Jamaica within the last 24 hours to 11.
