IOC Provisionally Lifts Ban On russian Olympics Committee | TVJ Sports
The International Olympic Committee has provisionally lifted its suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee, marking a significant step toward Russia’s reintegration into the Olympic movement ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
The Russian Olympic Committee was suspended in October 2023 after recognising regional Olympic councils in Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
