Emancipation Park comes alive on Emancipation Day, August 1, 2025, with REDEMPTIONFEST—an explosion of Jamaican culture as we remember and celebrate the things that make us uniquely Jamaican. Action starts at 3.00 p.m. with a showcase of Jamaican art, craft, clothing, dance, and music; a traditional food village; a children’s village; and much more. At 7.00 p.m. there will be a major stage show featuring Benjy Myaz and a host of top-notch artistes. REDEMPTIONFEST … the place to be on Emancipation Day.
