St. Catherine Hammer Tacius Golding 5-Nil In Insports Challenge Cup | TVJ Sports
St. Catherine High secured their third straight win in the INSPORTS Challenge Cup football competition on Monday, thrashing Tacius Golding High 5-0 in the opening match of a double-header at Jose Marti High School.
Lennon Lawrence opened the scoring for the St. John’s Road school in the 19th minute before adding his second in the 48th minute to make it 2-0.
Mario Byfield scored the third in the 52nd minute, Nevauehn Morgan made it 4-0 four minutes later, and Adrian Gayle completed the rout in the 64th minute.
The victory moved St. Catherine High to nine points.
