After fifteen years without a wage increase, senior government officials and politicians in Saint Lucia are set to receive a twenty-three percent salary boost under a new report tabled in Parliament. The Salaries Review Commission’s long-awaited findings, presented by Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre, will also see retired senior officers receive recomputed pensions to reflect the value of their service.
