SAINT LUCIA COMMEMORATES MILESTONES HONORING LATE CUBAN LEADER FIDEL CASTRO
The Embassy of Cuba alongside the Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association hosted a commemorative ceremony in August 2026 to honor the legacy of the late Cuban revolutionary leader, Fidel Castro.
The gathering highlighted three historic milestones, including Castro’s 100th birth anniversary, more than two decades of solidarity, and decades of diplomatic cooperation between Saint Lucia and Cuba.
