Man Killed In Adelaide Community
Police have launched an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Monday, September 7th, 2026, on Richard Drive, Adelaide, which resulted in the death of an adult male believed to be in his early forties.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m., police received a report that a male had been shot multiple times in the vicinity of a public school. Officers from the Western Division responded to the scene, where they found an unresponsive male clad in a green shirt and blue jeans, suffering from apparent gunshot injuries to the upper body.
Emergency Medical Services personnel attended the scene and examined the victim and confirmed that he had no vital signs of life.
Preliminary information indicates that the deceased had just left a public primary school where he is reportedly employed and was walking east along Richard Drive when he was shot by an unknown person(s).
Detectives are actively investigating this matter to identify the suspect or suspects responsible.
