Economist Backs NWC's Proposed 51% Water Rate Increase | TVJ News
At least one economist is supporting the National Water Commission’s proposed 51 per cent tariff increase, arguing that the additional revenue is needed to repair ageing infrastructure and improve service delivery.
However, with the proposal drawing objections and customers facing the prospect of higher water bills, the final decision rests with the Office of Utilities Regulation, OUR.
