Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says savings from the immediate ban on official overseas travel for some public sector officials will be used to fund post-Hurricane Melissa activities.

However, there were no details on the amount of money the Government expects to save as a result of the travel ban.

The Prime Minister was speaking recently to residents in South St. James who were left completely homeless following Hurricane Melissa last year.

This clip was aired on Prime Time News on October 25, 2026.
