CARPHA Elevates Caribbean Ebola Risk To Moderate As African Outbreak Spreads(NOVEMBER 2ND, 2026)
The Caribbean Public Health Agency has elevated its regional risk assessment for Ebola Virus Disease from low to moderate, following the spread of the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak to additional African countries. Saint Lucia’s Ministry of Health says it is strengthening surveillance and preparedness measures, while advising nationals against non-essential travel to three affected countries.
