ADR Policy Development and Estate Planning Forum | Resolving Disputes, Securing Legacy
The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs (MJCA) hosts the ADR Policy Development and Estate Planning Forum on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Sandals Dunn’s River, under the theme “Resolving Disputes, Securing Legacy.”
This stakeholder consultation and Justices of the Peace (JPs) sensitisation session forms part of the Ministry’s islandwide public education campaign to advance Jamaica’s National Policy on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and promote greater awareness of estate planning.
Following previous forums across Jamaica, this staging continues stakeholder engagement on strengthening dispute resolution, preventing conflicts and building a more accessible, peaceful and people-centred justice system.

The programme will feature presentations on the development of the National ADR Policy, the Mediation Bill and the role of Justices of the Peace, estate planning, and a panel discussion on advancing ADR through collaboration and best practices.
