Canada continued to dominate Argentina in the second quarter of their 2026 Pan-American Men’s Lacrosse Championship clash in Kingston, Jamaica.
After Argentina’s defence kept Canada scoreless early in the quarter, the Canadians eventually found their rhythm. Finn Thompson capitalised on a goalkeeper turnover to add another goal, showcasing the awareness and lacrosse IQ that have made him one of Canada’s standout attackers at the tournament.
Ty English then struck twice in quick succession, including a superb finish from an Owen Hiltz feed, as Canada’s slick passing and movement proved difficult for Argentina to contain.
Argentina goalkeeper Connor Hollison continued to battle under sustained pressure, while his teammates produced some encouraging defensive moments against the world’s number two-ranked team.
