BTVI Reveals Masterplan For New Campus
Plans for a new Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute (BTVI) campus are underway. A master plan was revealed for the new campus during a presentation on Thursday. When asked about the cost of the new campus, BTVI Chairman of the Board of Directors, Elvin Taylor, said that cost is still being calculated.
In attendance for the presentation was U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas, Herschel Walker, who delivered short remarks on the importance of education, and the relationship between The Bahamas and The United States when it comes to education, including Bahamian students studying abroad.
Following the presentation, Walker and BTVI officials toured BTVI’s current campus on Old Trail Road.
