FRENCH GUIANA JOINS CARICOM AS EIGHTH ASSOCIATE MEMBER AT SAINT LUCIA SUMMIT
French Guiana has officially become CARICOM’S Associate Member.
The historic agreement was finalized today, signed by CARICOM Chair and Saint Lucian Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre alongside Gabriel Serville, President of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana.
With the ink now dry on the new partnership, French Guiana is set to immediately take its seat at the table.
Delegates will join the ongoing discussions at the Fifty-First Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government.
