Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, has provided another update at Wednesday’s post-Cabinet press briefing on the third-country nationals (TCNs) who arrived in Jamaica from the United States more than two weeks ago.

On Tuesday, Mrs. Johnson Smith disclosed that one of the 22 individuals has already returned to their home country, while 20 others are being assisted with arrangements to return home.

Another individual has expressed a desire to remain in Jamaica, prompting ongoing discussions with that person about the purpose of the transit arrangement.
