House Speaker: “I Rebuke You, You Betta Take A Seat”
Tensions between House Speaker Patricia Deveaux and Long Island MP, Dr. Andre Rollins, boiled over again in the House of the Assembly. A heated back-and-forth followed between Dr. Rollins and Fox Hill MP, Fred Mitchell, who were arguing over the country’s sovereignty.
Rollins could be heard in Parliament telling Deveaux, “I beseech you.” It was followed by Deveaux telling Rollins, “I rebuke you.”
