The Bahamas Educators Managerial Union (BEMU) has legally and legitimately invoked its strike certification, according to President Stephen McPhee at a press conference this morning.
The move comes as the union continues efforts to meet with the Ministry of Education to address concerns including staffing shortages, outstanding promotions and appointments.
