More than 50 Cuban nurses are expected to arrive in Jamaica to help ease the severe nursing shortage in the public healthcare system.
Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton told TVJ News that it should not be long before the nurses return to the island to bolster staffing levels across public health facilities.
