The 4-1 chance, Phenomenal Power, smashed a 43-year track record with an impressive gate-to-wire victory to win the fifth running of the Clovis Metcalfe Trophy.
The Overnight Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward was run over seven and a half furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
