Prime Minister Delivers Indian Arrival Day Message In Parliament

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has lauded the multicultural identity of Trinidad and Tobago while commemorating the 181st anniversary of Indian Arrival Day in Parliament.
The Prime Minister reflected on the arrival of Indian indentured labourers in 1845, praised their contribution to national development, and called for continued unity among citizens.
She also criticized the absence of Opposition members during the observance.
