St. Lucian positive music and Christian artiste, Wilburne, has released a smashing remix to his hit song, “Push Love”. This song is part of his latest 10-track album entitled, “Passing Through”. The original version of “Push Love” was released on February 18 2026 shortly after the fatal incidents involving ICE protesters in the US. Embodying a universal message of love and reminding us of our humanity, the song has received raved reviews by listeners.

For the remix, Wilburne teamed up with two other prominent artistes, J.None of Florida and C.Anthony of Jamaica to deliver a master piece.

In late 2009, Wilburne commenced his journey as a solo artiste when he recorded his very first single, « Wannah Know ». Since then, he has continued keeping the dream alive by recording numerous songs at various studios in his country. He is becoming more popular in the Caribbean diaspora and is prepared to make his mark internationally.

On the local stage in St. Lucia, Wilburne has sung at weddings, funerals, and several concerts. He also sang on cruise ships and in the hotel circuit in his country in duos, trios, and bands. In 2018, the rising star released his debut album, ‘Spiritual Awakening’. In 2020, he had his first collaboration with fellow artiste J None to create a song of hope entitled, “Get Through This” during the pandemic. This song was geared at showing appreciation to the front-liners in the battle against the pandemic and towards combating racial injustices. Half of the proceeds of the song were donated to the front-liners in Florida as well as the Black Lives Matter Movement. This song didn’t go unnoticed as Wilburne was interviewed on NBC 6. Subsequently, he was interviewed at various local TV stations in his country.

In 2021, Wilburne began the year by releasing another song of encouragement to the world, « Miracle Worker ». At that time, 50% of the song’s proceeds were donated to the Alexander Family Foundation to aid them in their valiant strides caring for the less fortunate. The song was on rotation at local radio stations, and Wilburne was also interviewed to enlighten others to support the endeavour. Miracle Worker went on to be nominated for two awards by the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards for Outstanding Black Gospel Arrangement and Outstanding Instrumental Track.

In 2026, Wilburne has been the architect of another spectacular album, “Passing Through”. It encompasses messages of positivity and reminds us all to be cognisant of our mortality. Meditating on the words of the traditional song, “This world is not my home I’m just passing through” we should come to the realization of investing our limited time on earth aspiring to be the best version of ourselves. Though the songs on the album differ in lyrical content and musicality, each song communicates messages of positivity; especially to help nurture our youth into upstanding citizens. Some songs on the album include “Friend”- which is about being our brother’s keeper and genuine comrade, “Passerby”- which serves to remind persons to be vigilant concerning the company that they keep, “Mommy”- a song dedicated to mothers (namely Wilburne’s mother), and several more. “Passing Through” is in an array of genres including Afrobeat, Reggae, Trap, EDM and more; embedded with positive lyrics and sprinkled with smooth vocals.

Thus far, some of the songs on the album have received raved reviews. Wilburne is a shining example that music can be both pleasurable to listen to whilst maintaining positive, uplifting lyrics. The album released a few days before his 38th birthday.
