TTOC President Praises Walcott And Richards’ International Success
Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) President Diane Henderson has commended the efforts of Olympians Keshorn Walcott and Jereem Richards, who both tasted success on the international stage.
Richards won 400-metre bronze and 200-metre silver at the Diamond League, while Walcott claimed silver in the Men’s Javelin final at the Motonet GP Meet in Finland as they both continue their paths to qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Ms. Henderson said, « The pathway and the effort continues. They obviously have a goal, a trajectory. They have a vision and they want to achieve that vision and right now they’re on the mission. So they are just working towards keeping themselves in target for LA28. And that’s what I can say. As long as they continue doing what they’re doing, I think, you know, we would be on good footing.
