T&T's Malique Lewis Embraces NBA Opportunity
It was a dream come true for Trinidad and Tobago basketballer Malique Lewis, who made headlines this week after being drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Following his achievement, TTT Sport caught up with the San Fernando native, who spoke about the emotions of hearing his name called and what this opportunity means for his career.
« Being a part of the Bucks, I mean so far it’s been great, even before I got here, even before I played in a game, you know, everybody’s been showing a lot of love. Everybody’s been reaching out and congratulating me. Even seeing what the team did to make me a part of the organisation, I feel like that just gives me a lot of confidence to go in and make a name for myself and, you know, be great from day one. »
