Wilson: If We Do Not Reach An Agreement With Government, Industrial Action Will Be Taken
Negotiations continue to stall between the government and the Bahamas Union of Teachers (B.U.T.).
B.U.T. President Belinda Wilson announced in a voice note last night that if an agreement isn’t met by midnight on Thursday, industrial action will be taken by teachers.
The Union has firmly rejected the government’s salary counter proposal and maximum salary scale amount after months of negotiations.
