As the ICC T20 World Cup draws closer, work is progressing to get the facilities ready here in Antigua for the global showpiece. Jack Matthew has been taking a close look at the preparations.

ICC Men's T20 World Cup Ambassador Usain Bolt is helping to build momentum for the global showpiece to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States. The Jamaican was present along with cricket legends and New York sports icons on a visit to the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in the United States. Joel Rayne reports.

East Caribbean Group of Companies has announced the decision to lower prices on animal feeds by up to 10 percent, in a move welcomed by Agriculture Minister, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene. Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney has reacted to concerns about the latest tactics by gangs across the Caribbean. Rodney, who is also president of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police, ACCP, was asked about comments from head of the Caricom Implementation Agency for Crime and Cecurity (IMPACS), Lieutenant Colonel Michael Jones. Jones told the Cayman Compass publication that Caribbean cartels are using music promoters and performers as a front for organised crime, as part of their latest malign actions across the region.

A top United Nations official has expressed full support for the global Multi-Dimensional Vulnerability Index recently unveiled by Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne. ABS has spoken exclusively with Senior Advisor to Small Island Developing States at the United Nations Office for Project Services, Dr. Simona Marinescu.
