Canada shifted into high gear in the second quarter against the U.S. Virgin Islands at the 2026 Pan-American Men’s Lacrosse Championship in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Canadians used crisp passing, skip passes and strong movement around the crease to repeatedly break down the USVI defence. Finn Thompson continued his impressive tournament, while Alex Simmons and Jake Stevens were also among the scorers as Canada extended its advantage.
USVI goalkeeper Isaiah Wilson produced several saves under sustained pressure, while the Virgin Islands created opportunities of their own as they looked to respond.
