Prison Officers Seize Drone Linked To Suspected Contraband Attempts
Acting Commissioner of Prisons, Elvin Sancterbury, is commending officers on the confiscation of a DJI drone attached to a length of string at the Port of Spain prison on Sunday.
According to a media release by the prison service, the drone was believed to be linked to recent attempts to use unmanned aerial technology to smuggle prohibited items into the prison.
Prisons Commissioner, Elvin Sancterburry, says the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service will continue to strengthen its measures in place to detect and prevent the infiltration of contraband.
