Caribbean Community youth ambassadors are being equipped to tackle climate change and health challenges. The training aligns with CARICOM's Climate Change and Health program aimed at deepening awareness of how climate change affects health and disseminating knowledge on prevention and adaptation measures to reduce greenhouse gases. The island`s Minister for Labour says that government will have to face the inescapable challenge of establishing a Living Wage for some workers whose salaries cannot finance their basic needs. A recently established Minimum Wage Commission recently charged with formulating recommendations to address the issue , has presented its suggestions to the Cabinet of Ministers.
