An emotional reunion between a man and his cat was caught on camera as a fire burned through his Tarzana home. The homeowner was seen telling firefighters that his cat was still inside the room, asking them to please rescue his beloved pet. He fell to his knees in tears after a firefighter brought out his cat, who was still alive. The cat was taken to the vet to be evaluated.

Thanks to an ordinance, fast-food restaurants in the city of Los Angeles can charge customers 10 cents for bags. The city tells NBC4 that the initial bag ban ordinance from 2013 was amended to include restaurants and took effect in July 2023.
