Thick smoke drifted over the Lynwood area during a fire at a commercial building. The fire near the 105 and 710 freeways burned for more than two hours after it started around 8 a.m. Flames burned through the roof, sending a cloud of smoke over the area.

LAPD patrol car video shows the moments leading up to a deadly high-speed Lamborghini crash in Reseda. The stolen Italian sports car reached speeds of more than 100 mph on San Fernando Valley streets after leaving a traffic stop on April 6. Officers arrived at the scene of the crash several blocks away to find wreckage scattered in the street. The driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
