The annual Corpus Christi Feast and Procession saw hundreds of Catholics celebrate the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
During his homily, Roman Catholic Archbishop, Jason Gordon, urged Catholics to remember that through various testing God is able to change the hearts of a people.
He said that we must recognise, and be thankful for the many provisions God continues to make for us as a nation.
Despite the early morning showers, students, worshippers and parishioners, engaged in a public display of faith through the city.
Minister of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development, Dr. Kennedy Swaratsingh, Minister of Land and Legal Affairs, Saddam Hosein, and Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro, were among those in attendance.
