Cooper: “Safety Is First, But We Teach Resilience”
Education Minister Chester Cooper told reporters this morning that some schools in New Providence are experiencing flooding and power outages, but he said those issues are being addressed.
Cooper, who spoke ahead of today’s Cabinet meeting, added that the rain or power outages will not automatically result in school closures. He said decisions are made on a case-by-case basis in extreme circumstances.
