STRONG MESSAGES [5TH AUGUST 2025] – The government is facing renewed pressure from the opposition over crime, following police revelations that critical evidence is missing in two high-profile homicide cases. At their weekly press conference this morning, opposition members called for stronger leadership and messaging from the Prime Minister and the Minister for National Security. However, their demands came a day after Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre had already publicly expressed serious concern about the disappearance of evidence from police custody.
