In a major breakthrough for national climate resilience efforts, the Saint Lucia Development Bank has earned international recognition — officially accredited as a Direct Access Entity by the Green Climate Fund. The milestone, six years in the making, means Saint Lucia can now tap directly into climate financing to fund homegrown adaptation projects without relying on external intermediaries.
