We Prepare for the Summer That We Normally See Based on Our System
Energy Minister JoBeth Coleby-Davis says this summer’s extreme heat put more pressure on Bahamas Power and Light’s system than expected. She says BPL prepared for a typical summer, but record electricity demand led to outages and disruptions. Coleby-Davis says work is continuing to strengthen the power grid and improve reliability.
