A privately-owned spacecraft headed for the Moon has blasted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket was used to launch the lunar lander, nicknamed Odysseus, with the hope that it will land on the Moon's south pole – where scientists predict there could be a source of water. If all goes well, it will be the first time a private firm has successfully landed on the Moon. It would also be the first US mission in 51 years to complete a soft touchdown on the lunar surface. Una veintena de tractores provenientes de Extremadura y de localidades madrileñas ha llegado desde Extremadura a la sede del Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación, situado en el Paseo de Infanta Isabel número 1 de Madrid. Esta tarde, su titular, el ministro Luis Planas, se reunirá con representantes de los sindicatos agrarios para tratar los problemas del sector primario. La marcha, escoltada por la Guardia Civil, empezó en Badajoz, con un grupo de tractores que comenzó desde la localidad de Talarrubias rumbo a la capital. En las puertas del Ministerio de Agricultura ya se han concentrado algunos agricultores y ganaderos con pancartas a la espera de la llegada de estos tractores. El hombre acusado de la muerte de los tres hermanos de Morata de Tajuña (Madrid) ha matado presuntamente a su compañero de celda en la prisión madrileña de Estremera propinándole varios golpes, han señalado a EFE fuentes próximas a la investigación. Los hechos han sucedido sobre las dos y media de la madrugada en la cárcel en la que ingresó hace tres semanas en prisión provisional comunicada y sin fianza a la espera de ser juzgado por el triple crimen. Los agentes de Policía Judicial de la Guardia Civil, que han asumido la investigación del crimen, se encuentran realizando las primeras pesquisas en el centro penitenciario. Tras el suceso los funcionarios de la prisión han avisado al juez de guardia, al médico forense y a los investigadores del instituto armado, han informado desde Instituciones Penitenciarias. Dilawar Hussein F.C., de origen paquistaní y 42 años, ingresó el pasado 24 de enero en el módulo 12 de la cárcel de Estremera, considerado de presos conflictivos.Compartía celda con un recluso de origen búlgaro, A.A.V., de 39 años, ya que tenía orden de acompañamiento, lo que se denomina preso sombra, según han detallado a EFE fuentes sindicales. Intensa noche de bombardeos en Gaza. El hospital Nasser en Jan Yunis, al sur de La Franja de Gaza, ha sido asediado por el ejército israelí que ordenó la evacuación del centro médico. Es el hospital más grande del sur de Gaza. Además de atender a los pacientes, se refugian gazatíes que han huído de sus ciudades. "La gente se ha visto forzada a una situación imposible: permanecer en el hospital Nasser en contra de las órdenes del ejército israelí y convertirse en un objetivo potencial o salir del recinto a un paisaje apocalíptico donde los bombardeos y las órdenes de evacuación forman parte de la vida cotidiana", ha declarado la coordinadora de proyectos de MSF en Gaza, Lisa Macheiner. A esto se une, la intención de Netanyahu de una ofensiva terrestre en Rafah, ciudad fronteriza con Egipto, donde se refugian más 1,4 millones de palestinos. Am Tag nach der Präsidentschafts- und Parlamentswahl in Indonesien haben offizielle Zahlen den deutlichen Sieg des Ex-Generals Prabowo Subianto bestätigt.
