CARICOM raises concerns over active hurricane season

With the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season approaching, regional grouping, CARICOM has shone the spotlight on climate change and its effect on member states. Secretary General, Dr. Carla Barnett says regular hurricanes seriously set back development gains. In her address at the 27th Meeting of the Council of Foreign and Community Relations, COFCOR in Dominica she told those present hard won progress is being undone.
