Crime Victims Assistance Association of Arkansas hold vigil in North Little Rock

Crime Victims Assistance Association of Arkansas (CVAAA) held a candlelight vigil Thursday afternoon closing out National Crime Victims' Rights Week. Members gathered at Allsopp Park in North Little Rock to honor communities effected by crime. "I am lighting a candle for the domestic violence victims across the state. I think domestic violence is one of those things that's quiet and never talked about." Said Ashley, one of the candle lighters. "In the state of Arkansas, there have been approximately 52 domestic violence homicides for 2023."
