DLP leadership struggle no surprise

The latest development in the leadership struggle in the Opposition Democratic Labour Party is not surprising. That assessment comes from veteran Political Scientist Dr. George Belle. In an interview with CBC News, Dr. Belle explains the leadership issue will continue until one of the leaders of the two factions resigns. He believes given the Opposition Leader's legitimate position as Political Leader, only one path forward exists. In a document reportedly sent to Party members and circulating online, embattled General Secretary of the DLP Steve Blackett, says he's considering his position and membership of the Party. Dr. Belle believes the current infighting will result in his resignation.
