The first fatal police shooting for the year has occurred in Vieux Fort. A teenager from Castries succumbed after being shot by officers attached to the Vieux Fort Police Station on Tuesday morning. According to the police, the incident occurred after officers responded to a call indicating that armed men wearing face masks were in the community of Bruceville.
