From the archives: Hmong vets honored decades after Vietnam War | 75th Anniversary

Following the withdrawal of U.S. troops in Vietnam, a large number of Vietnamese, Cambodians, Lao, and Hmong people sought refuge in the United States. In 1975, Hmong refugees began to move to Minnesota. As of October 2023, Minnesota has 95,094 Hmong people, with more than half living in Ramsey County.
