Through the East Port of Spain initiative, residents within the area can take advantage of new opportunities to help boost their economic growth. Director at the Port of Spain Shopping Complex Limited, Belinda Charles, revealed that six residents will have the opportunity to get a rent-free spot in one of the malls run by the East Port of Spain Development Company. Operations Special Advisor for the Port of Spain Shopping Complex Limited, Dr. Joanne Spence, indicated that among the benefits to both the six new entrepreneurs and the existing 225 tenants are training sessions conducted by the National Entrepreneurship Development Company (NEDCO).
