Government keen on respecting independence on institutions

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has called on constitutional commissions, independent offices (CCIOS) and other state agencies to use alternative conflict resolution mechanisms in resolving matters as opposed to courts. Gachagua who was in Naivasha to open the engagement bringing together the executive and independent institutions maintained that the government was keen on respecting the independence of the institutions while calling for their oversight through the formation of a law.
