Homeowners recovering after EF-2 tornado in Garland County

Homeowners in Garland County are recovering after an EF-2 tornado touched down early Wednesday morning, leaving trees felled, power lines downed, and homes destroyed. The storm descended under the cover of darkness, touching down just before 1 a.m. Reports state the tornado was on the ground for more than 20 minutes. 688 people in the county remain without power as emergency responders and homeowners continue to assess the damage caused by the storm system.
