IACHR recognises region's plight

The IACHR is very clued in to the human rights issues associated with climate change in Barbados. President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights Nancy Hernandez-Lopez, speaking at the 166 Regular Session of the Court which runs until the 26th in Barbados, let it be known that they see the plight of the region. Ms. Lopez also described Barbados as as a country which has set significant jurisprudence and reshaped the landscape of criminal law within the IACHR. She says while its the Court's second visit to Barbados since 2011, Barbadian Oliver Jackman also served as an outstanding judge.
