INTER UNIVERSITY GAMES: UCU & BUGEMA UNIVERSITY SHINE IN A WEEK LONG EVENT.

It is Day two of the inter university games at Uganda Christian university in Mukono. More than one thousand athletes are competing in 16 sports disciplines including netball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and chess among others. In football, Bugema university played to a goalless draw against Kampala university, Nkumba university were expetional in netball defeating Soroti university 86- 21, Mubs defeating Gulu University, Kampala University defeated Bishop Stuart , Kyambogo University defeated Mountain of the moon while Victoria University were the surprise package in netball defeating Soroti university with a difference of 117 goals. In Volleyball, Bugema University defeated Mountain of the moon in straight sets. Action resumes Tuesday in a weeklong event with the climax set for Saturday.
