Labour would have 'audit' of UK-China relations if elected - shadow minister

Shadow paymaster general Jonathan Ashworth says Labour would have an immediate audit of "all UK-China relations" if elected, and would take national security as the "number one priority". Speaking after a cyberattack on the Ministry of Defence which Sky News understands was the work of China, he added the UK must do "more to protect ourselves". On the Israel-Hamas war, Mr Ashworth says what is happening in Rafah is "catastrophic", calling for an immediate ceasefire along with the release of Israeli hostages.
