Law Professor ‘appalled’ by chants and banners at university’s pro-Palestine protest

George Washington University Law Professor Melinda Roth has told of how she was “appalled” by several banners and chants taking place at the campus’ pro-Palestine protest. “I went to the campus to pick up my exams to grade … and I walked through the encampment and I was sort of stunned,” Ms Roth told Sky News Australia host Erin Molan. “I was really appalled – I was horrified. “There were signs and chants that were, I felt, woefully inappropriate for a peaceful protest which should be about innocent death in a war which most people want to stop.”
