Min Babalanda implores RDCs to protect the environment, monitor wetlands, and stop developments

The Minister for Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda has advised the Resident District and City Commissioners, their deputies and Internal Security Organizations in West Nile to be keen on the security situation in the sub-region. According to the Minister, there is a reported infiltration of guns into the sub-region due to porous borders with Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. She implored RDCs to also promote environmental protection by encouraging communities to desist from wet land encroachments.
