More UN agencies to be based in Barbados

Barbados will soon be home to more United Nations agencies. The announcement was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds. The most recent is the International Organisation for Migration, which set up its Coordination Office for the Caribbean and IOM Mission to Barbados last year. Minister Symmonds says Barbados is moving to broaden its diplomatic footprint with the UN.
